What does the Blue Bundle do for me?The Blue Bundle enables you to view with confidence images on your screen knowing that they will reproduce correctly on your printer. No more “trial and error” printing! It will save you time and money in wasted paper and ink. It allows you to more effectively control your output between multiple applications and devices. With the Blue Bundle, what you print, will be as close as possible to what you see onscreen! What will the Blue Bundle not do for me?The Blue Bundle will optimize the equipment you have for a very consistent color reproduction. However, it cannot perform beyond the physical limitations of your current hardware. In addition it will not turn your printer into a hi-end contract proofer. If you need to produce hi-end contract proofs, please contact us for our prepress and press bundles. Who should purchase the Blue Bundle?Anyone who wants consistent color reproduction. What does the installation include?
Is it possible that I have a printer, a monitor or a computer that will not give me accurate colors no matter what?Our Blue Bundle will give you the best possible results with your current hardware. However, you will get the best results with the newest printers and monitors available. We can often optimize your results to your satisfaction but if you are looking for the best possible results, we will make recommendations for improved hardware for your budget. Will the Blue Bundle work with LCD monitors?Today’s LCD monitors can be made quite accurate and can be calibrated to very reasonable standards. The Eye-One Match software is compatible with both LCD and CRT monitors. I have more than one monitor. Do I need to purchase additional software?The Eye-One Match software is a site license. You will get one Eye-One Display 2 unit that is used to calibrate monitors. You can use this hardware on as many monitors as you wish. There is no per monitor fee for the hardware or the Eye-One Match software. We will train you on the simple monitor profiling procedure so that you can repeat it. How often do I need to calibrate my monitor or printer?We recommend monthly monitor calibrations. If your tolerances are very tight or you have an older monitor, you can calibrate as often as necessary. Today’s inkjet printers are very stable compare to past devices. The custom ICC profiles we create are will be good as long as the drift on the printers is low. For laser printers and color copiers, we recommend that the calibration routines suggested by the manufacturer be performed weekly for best results. In the cases of all printers, we can make new custom profiles remotely for a small fee once the original install is completed? Do I have to pay tax?There is no tax on the installation services. We charge sales tax for California residents. Is everything included in the price?Yes, including 30-days of unlimited phone and email support!
